The 3D Editor version 2 has been updated.
The grid and grid snap can now be used more effectively to create accurate shapes (tracks).
A plugin "Track2Pol" is also available for download. This is useful for building a surface from a track. Don't forget to check out the related tutorial.

A Student Version has also been released on request for the non-commercial users.
The 3D Editor Version 2.0 is lot more stable and has an enhanced set of features.
